SME4Labour hosted a fundraising dinner for Burnley MP Oliver Ryan on Tuesday 20 October, bringing together Labour supporters and members of the small-business community.

Guests heard from Hamish Falconer MP, the Minister for Intergovernmental Relations and European Relations, and Kanishka Narayan MP, the Minister for Artificial Intelligence. Their contributions touched on Britain's relationship with Europe and the opportunities and choices presented by new technology.
Jade Botterill, the Labour MP for Ossett and Denby Dale, also addressed guests and helped with the evening's raffle. Paul McGee spoke on behalf of SME4Labour about the importance of bringing small businesses and the Labour movement together.

Speakers emphasised that delivering political change requires sustained work and that MPs need strong teams and support in place well before the next general election.
Ryan thanked guests for attending and supporting his work. SME4Labour said it was pleased to help organise the dinner and would continue bringing people together in support of Labour MPs and candidates across the country.
