The proposed building would include a central event space, café and community shop, a larger hall, community library, youth and education room and neighbourhood health hub.

Telford and Wrekin Council is managing the project with Madeley Town Council as part of wider plans to regenerate local estates.

Residents can inspect the designs and question the project team at a drop-in event at the existing Hub on the Hill on 26 October from 2pm to 8pm.

Watling, Labour councillor for Madeley and Sutton Hill and the council's adult social care and health cabinet member, said feedback would be considered before final plans were submitted.

The proposal remains at consultation stage. The council has not described the draft design as a final planning approval or completed funding decision.
