Danny Beales has backed a campaign to secure the long-term future of West London Racing Centre at Pole Hill, highlighting uncertainty over its occupation of the site.

In a public statement on 9 October, the Labour MP supported the centre’s petition and said uncertainty about a long-term lease made it harder to plan and invest.
The petition was launched on 23 September. Beales’s intervention is fresh support for that existing campaign rather than an announcement of a lease agreement.
Campaigners are asking Hillingdon Council for a timetable for a long-term lease and a named officer responsible for progressing discussions.
They also want a dated plan covering fencing and site security, and a written response to their requests.
The volunteer-run centre provides a track for radio-controlled car racing. Its petition highlights work involving young people and activities delivered with RCVision.
Beales’s support adds parliamentary backing to the request for certainty. Neither his statement nor the petition establishes that a new lease has been agreed.
