The announcement on 9 October named CGI as the summit’s Industry Partner. The University of Liverpool will continue as a Founding Partner, having supported the event since 2024.

The summit will take place on 27 October at the Liverpool Experience Campus, with sessions covering healthcare, research, public services and economic growth.

NVIDIA and Dell will sponsor a theme on connected places and run an OpenClaw bootcamp for young professionals. NatWest will host a business-support workshop.

The combined authority is exploring collaboration with NVIDIA to assess whether regional computing capacity could help public bodies, researchers and businesses use AI securely. This remains exploratory work.

Rotheram said the region’s priority was to use technology to improve lives and services, create opportunities and share the benefits of innovation across its communities.
