Last week at the Labour Party Annual Conference, Labour set out a programme to invest in Britain’s renewal so that we can build an economy that works for working people.
Across the week, we announced plans to back British business by creating jobs, driving innovation, delivering economic security, tackling crime and supporting people back into work.
The Prime Minister thanked every business in the country for their contribution and emphasised that the defining mission of the Labour Government is to grow the economy and improve living standards. Putting money in people’s pockets and building an economy that unites people and communities up and down the country.
