Labour MP stresses need for reliable media in age of disinformation
Abtisam Mohamed, Labour MP for Sheffield Central, has highlighted the importance of reliable news sources in an era of widespread disinformation.
Speaking to Labour Home, Mohamed said it was crucial for communities across the UK to have access to accurate and objective information. “At this moment, it is very important to recognize that we need reliable information that reaches people across the country and all communities,” she said. “We must make sure we spread the facts that people want to see and provide objective views of political positions across the country.”
