Major treaty with Poland to keep Britain safe
We’ve signed a new defence and security treaty with Poland to protect British borders, tackle organised crime, boost joint defence capabilities, deepen cooperation with the EU and reinforce our commitment to NATO.
Poland is one of the UK’s closest defence and security partners, a staunch supporter of Ukraine and one of the fastest growing economies in Europe.
Standing together, this Labour government is taking action alongside international allies to ensure that the UK is secure at home and strong abroad.

Football should be for the fans
For the first time since the competition began, fans won’t be able to watch the Champions League final for free. That’s not right.
The Prime Minister has co-signed a letter from the Football Supporters’ Association and nine Premier Leage clubs’ supporter groups, urging TNT Sports to reconsider and make the final next Saturday free to watch.
Hardworking people shouldn’t have to fork out for a subscription to watch this match. Football should bring people together, not shut them out.
