Other deals cover cancer diagnostics, construction consultancy, cloud services, waste technology and engineering. The government says commercial agreements worth nearly £12 billion have been reached since the free-trade agreement was signed in July 2025.
Reynolds is travelling with northern mayors, a combined-authority leader, the Environment Secretary, the Scotland Secretary and more than 100 businesses. He is also due to co-chair the UK-India Joint Economic and Trade Committee and the bilateral Science and Innovation Council.
UK-India trade was worth £48 billion in the year to March 2026, up £3 billion in current prices. The new announcements provide the first detailed commercial outcomes from a mission whose regional programme had already been trailed.
