The union says loaders will receive a 6.25% increase, with other members covered by the agreement receiving 5%.

The settlement also improves overtime rates and provides an additional day of company sick pay for each year of service, up to a maximum of 26 days. Unite says the package is backdated to 1 April 2026.

Members had voted to strike after an initial 3% offer but overwhelmingly accepted the revised terms following negotiations.

General secretary Sharon Graham praised workers for standing together and said the result demonstrated the value of union organisation.

Roles covered include flight coordinators, supervisors, drivers and airside supervisors.
