The Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) has appointed Ellie Vinnicombe as its new Head of Crop Protection and Agronomy.
Ellie joins AIC from CropLife UK, where she served as Policy and Regulatory Manager. In this role, she was closely involved in regulatory and policy matters affecting the crop protection sector. Prior to this, Ellie gained experience as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Consultant and through practical field trials work involving plant protection products.
In her new role, Ellie will lead AIC’s work on crop protection and agronomy, supporting Members across the agri-supply chain on regulatory, technical and policy developments.
Ellie Vinnicombe said: “I’m delighted to have joined AIC at such an important time for UK agriculture. Although the sector is facing a number of challenges, there are also real opportunities to drive innovation and sustainable growth. I’m looking forward to working closely with our Members as we navigate these changes together and continue building a resilient agri-supply chain.”
