Helena Dollimore has encouraged local families to make use of Hollington Youth Hub, highlighting its opening and the free weekly activities available to young people.

In a Sunday update, the Labour MP for Hastings and Rye said the hub had benefited from £3 million of government investment. She directed residents to its programme of events.

The hub's published timetable includes Monday sessions for children and teenagers with special educational needs and disabilities, alongside a Wednesday junior group for eight to twelve-year-olds.

There are also Thursday sessions for thirteen to seventeen-year-olds and a Friday evening group for ten to sixteen-year-olds. The hub describes its provision as inclusive, including for LGBTQ young people.

Based on Wishing Tree Road North in St Leonards, the service gives families several options across the week. Dollimore's appeal encourages residents to check the programme and find a session suited to their child's age and needs.
