Battersea Power Station are pleased to have made two significant announcements in the past 24 hours; Sisk has been appointed as main contractor for Phase 3C, the next phase of the Battersea Power Station neighbourhood, and LEAP has agreed a 12,500 sq ft office at 50 Electric Boulevard.
Sisk will be delivering two new Gehry Partners-designed buildings to complete Electric Boulevard, our new pedestrianised high street, with construction set to begin this summer. Forming Phase 3C of the 42-acre masterplan, the two buildings will comprise c. 300 new homes, 65,000 sq ft of new commercial space for shops, cafes and restaurants, a 15,000 sq ft Community Hub, and an expanded bike hub for 600 spaces available for all, free of charge.
The construction project is set to create 400 jobs, adding to over 7,500 jobs already created at Battersea Power Station.
Meanwhile, LEAP Legal Software is more doubling its previous office at Battersea Power Station, expanding from its former 5,500 sq ft workspace within Circus West Village to a 12,500 sq ft office within the state-of-the-art 50 Electric Boulevard.
The legaltech company will join global brands including SharkNinja, Foster + Partners and TEAM LEWIS at 50 Electric Boulevard, which brings total occupancy of the building to 54%, and more than 4,200 office workers now based across Battersea Power Station.
