We are pleased to share the Battersea Power Station Community Choir marked its 10th anniversary this weekend with a free public concert held inside the Power Station with acclaimed choirmaster Gareth Malone OBE, to close out The Wine Circuit 2026.
The one-hour performance brought together choir members for a celebratory set of songs performed for visitors, choir supporters and music lovers. The choir was also joined by local Wandsworth group, BAC Beatbox Academy, who performed a series of beatbox and vocal numbers.
Founded in 2016 with just 12 local residents, Battersea Power Station Community Choir has since welcomed over 200 people to sing over the past 10 years, and has collaborated with renowned artists including Gareth Malone, Jamie Cullum, Sting and Kylie Minogue, and performed for His Majesty King Charles III and the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan.
