Prime Minister Keir Starmer has held a face-to-face meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reaffirming the UK's resolute and unwavering support for Ukraine in its fight for sovereignty against Russian aggression. The meeting, which took place on August 14, follows forceful public statements from the Prime Minister that "ultimately our security starts in Ukraine".
During his joint press conference with the German Chancellor in July, Starmer made it clear that the UK is "leading the work to get the best kit to Ukraine as fast as possible" in collaboration with our international allies.
