Labour has taken a three-point lead in the latest Westminster voting intention poll published by Survation, providing a boost for the government as Parliament prepares to return from summer recess next week.
According to the new poll, conducted between 26 and 28 August 2026, Labour stands at 27 per cent (+1), with Reform UK on 24 per cent (−2) and the Conservatives on 19 per cent (+1).
The Green Party remains unchanged at 10 per cent, while the Liberal Democrats are on 9 per cent (−1). Restore Britain sits on 3 per cent (+1), the SNP on 2 per cent (−1), Plaid Cymru on 1 per cent, and other parties combine for 4 per cent.

Fieldwork ran from 26 to 28 August 2026 among respondents likely to vote, weighted by likelihood to vote, with undecided and refused removed. The unweighted sample was 1,659.
The slight tightening at the top follows a summer of major policy announcements, including regional housing investment and clean energy initiatives aimed at bolstering long-term growth.
With MPs returning to Westminster in the coming days, attention will turn to the government’s legislative priorities, fiscal policy updates and debate surrounding reintroduced private members’ bills.
