Labour MP John Grady has praised the contribution of Domino’s to jobs, training and food production in Glasgow after visiting the company’s East End operation.
The Glasgow East MP toured the site to see how pizza dough is produced for stores across Scotland and the North East of England, while also hearing about the company’s approach to staff retention, training and development.

“Good to visit @Dominos_UK who employ a lot of people in Glasgow and see how they make enough pizza dough in the East End to feed Scotland and the North East of England.”
He added:
“It was good to hear how Domino’s work to retain staff and provide high quality training and development.”
The visit highlighted the importance of large employers and food manufacturing operations to Glasgow’s local economy, particularly in communities where stable jobs and progression opportunities can make a significant difference.
