Every adult in the UK can now access free AI training, as Labour ensures people have the skills and confidence to thrive in a changing economy.
The online courses, which can take as little as 20 minutes, are open to all UK adults and focus on practical workplace skills – from drafting documents and creating content to streamlining administrative tasks.
By equipping people with the tools to use AI effectively, the programme will help boost productivity, free up time for higher-value work, and ensure the benefits of new technology are shared widely.
As Science and Innovation Secretary Liz Kendall put it: change is inevitable – but Labour is determined that everyone shares in the opportunities AI brings, with power and control in people’s hands.
