Dawn Butler Praises Labour Home’s New Platform as Members Rally Ahead of London Elections
Labour MP Dawn Butler has praised the launch of Labour Home’s new website and forum, describing it as an important space for party members to come together and exchange ideas ahead of next year’s London elections.
Addressing attendees at a Labour gathering, Butler said the room was “full of the brightest and the best” and emphasised the value of grassroots involvement.
“It is a real pleasure to be here today, and I’m so pleased that Labour Home has this new website, this new forum where we can get together as a family and share ideas, because that’s what’s important,” she said.
“The Labour Party is nothing without its members and its movement, and the work that you all do in your individual groups — getting people together, keeping people enthused. We need every single ounce of that energy, especially going into May next year.”
